Son of Satan

Seems like almost every Marvel customizer has done a Son of Satan. I started one a few years ago, but eventually abandoned it. This new one uses a Sunspot as a base, with a modified Savage Land Angel head.

The key to the character is the pentagram on his chest. Rather than go for a painted or decoupaged symbol, I decided to sculpt it. I added a thin layer of Sculpey to the chest, and sculpted the symbol before curing. During painting, I used a light brown wash on the area and drybrushed some subtle highlights.

The hair was added with Sculpey, to get a better look than the similar-looking Quicksilver head. The boots are Sculpey, and the cape is modified from Magneto, with the addition of cut plastic and Sculpey. The trident was cut down from the Fantastic Four Sub-Mariner.
