The House of Hope
The House of Hope is a 501(c)3 Corporation and newly founded Benevolent center and future home for transitional living. Our objective is to provide housing for homeless and displaced men in the Kansas City, Kansas area as a part of our goal to become more actively involved in compassionate social services. the building was donated by the Roswell Church of Christ, technical support for administrative needs are an ongoing expense as we have hired a Business/Management consultant. Our objective is administer to the physical, mental and spiritual needs of those members of the community who are temporarily homeless.
Serving as one of our Advisors is the Honorable County Commissioner Nathaniel Barnes of the Wyandotte Unified County. Many agencies are facing serious cuts during these turbulent times. "Yet the poor we will have always." We are seeking Corporations who seek to support "The House of Hope" with finances or goods and services for this worthwhile endeavor. The House of Hope will be directly located across from the future home of the Mount Carmel housing development site. This neighborhood is currently making great strides in revitalization bringing businesses and families back to this area at 13th and Troop.
We are proposing as our start-up and kick off for the facility a generous donation in the name of your Company or family/ Foundation to cover, the purchase of beds, bedding, furniture, food and books as well as appliances and funding for completion of rehabilitation. Already the House of Hope and it's Executive Director has invested $10,000.00 rehabbing and cleaning up the site. The building will house up to six individuals with two common areas, two restrooms and kitchen.
In exchange for your generous donation your name will be prominently featured as one of our sponsors on this Website, Tee-shirts and Fliers and whenever a House of Hope benefit is held as well as giving tax credits or tax deductible status for your donation. Time is of the essence and we are working hard to reach our goal. Your kind donation will take us one step closer to our goal.
